Terms of Use
MigraTech Pty Ltd — ABN 45 596 350 923
Effective date: 22 August 2026 · Version 1.0
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MigraTech public tools, client portal, and related services (collectively, the “Services”) provided by MigraTech Pty Ltd. By accessing or using the Services, you (“User”, “you”, “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions
“AI Tools” means the publicly accessible tools on the MigraTech website that use artificial intelligence or algorithmic models to generate outputs, including but not limited to the Pathway Checker, Points Calculator, Occupation Search, Document Readiness Checker, Processing Time Estimator, Visa Cost Estimator, and English Equivalency Tool.
“Client Portal” means the secure online portal through which you may view the status of your migration case, upload documents, and complete questionnaires, where access has been provided to you by your migration agent.
“Migration Agent” or “Agent” means a registered migration agent who uses the MigraTech platform to manage migration cases.
“Tool Outputs” means any output, result, score, assessment, estimate, recommendation, or other information generated by the AI Tools.
2. Nature of the Services
2.1 Information Only
The Services are provided for general informational purposes only. Nothing provided through the Services constitutes immigration assistance, migration advice, or legal advice within the meaning of the Migration Act 1958 (Cth) (“Migration Act”).
2.2 Not a Migration Practice
MigraTech is a technology company. MigraTech is not a registered migration agent, a law firm, or a provider of immigration assistance. MigraTech does not employ or engage registered migration agents to provide advice through the Services.
2.3 Professional Advice Required
Under the Migration Act, only a registered migration agent or a legal practitioner can provide immigration assistance in Australia. Before making any decisions about your migration pathway, visa application, or related matters, you must obtain independent advice from a registered migration agent or qualified legal practitioner.
3. AI Tools — Critical Disclaimers
3.1 No Guarantee of Accuracy
Tool Outputs are generated by algorithmic models based on publicly available information, historical data, and generalised eligibility criteria. MigraTech makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness, reliability, currency, or suitability of any Tool Output. Without limiting the foregoing:
- Pathway Checker results are indicative estimates only. Actual visa eligibility depends on your individual circumstances, supporting evidence, and the assessment criteria applied by the Department of Home Affairs (“DHA”) at the time of application. A pathway identified as “eligible” does not mean your application will be approved.
- Points Calculator results are estimates based on the information you provide. The actual points assessment is conducted by DHA and may differ from the estimate provided.
- Occupation Search results reflect publicly available occupation lists which may change without notice. Inclusion of an occupation in search results does not guarantee that it will be on the relevant list at the time you lodge an application.
- Processing Time Estimator results are based on historical data and publicly available DHA statistics. Actual processing times vary significantly and are subject to DHA operational priorities, individual case complexity, and external factors.
- Document Readiness and other assessment tools provide general guidance only and may not reflect the specific evidentiary requirements of your visa subclass or individual circumstances.
3.2 Not Personalised Advice
Tool Outputs are generated based on the limited information you provide through the AI Tools. They do not account for the full range of factors that may affect your migration prospects, including but not limited to:
- health and character requirements;
- prior visa history, refusals, cancellations, or compliance issues;
- changes to legislation, regulations, Ministerial Directions, or DHA policy;
- skills assessment requirements specific to your occupation and assessing authority;
- state and territory nomination criteria and availability; and
- any other individual circumstances relevant to your case.
3.3 Your Responsibility
You acknowledge and agree that:
- you must not make any migration decision, lodge any visa application, or take any action in reliance on Tool Outputs without first obtaining independent professional advice;
- MigraTech is not responsible for any decision, action, or omission you take based on, influenced by, or related to any Tool Output;
- Tool Outputs may be outdated, inaccurate, or incomplete, and you use them at your own risk; and
- you are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy and applicability of any information provided through the Services.
4. Agent Matching and Lead Generation
4.1 Agent Directory
The Services may include functionality that allows you to express interest in engaging a registered migration agent. MigraTech facilitates introductions between prospective clients and registered migration agents but does not recommend, endorse, or guarantee any particular Agent.
4.2 No Agency Relationship
MigraTech is not a party to any engagement between you and a Migration Agent. Any agreement for migration services is between you and the Agent directly. MigraTech bears no responsibility for the quality, accuracy, timeliness, or outcome of any services provided by any Agent.
4.3 Data Sharing with Agents
If you submit an inquiry through the agent matching functionality, the information you provide (including your name, contact details, visa interests, and profile data) will be shared with one or more Migration Agents for the purpose of facilitating a consultation. By submitting an inquiry, you consent to this sharing. See our Privacy Policy for further details.
5. Client Portal
5.1 Access
If your Migration Agent provides you with access to the Client Portal, you may use the Client Portal to view case status, upload documents, and complete questionnaires. Access is subject to these Terms.
5.2 Accuracy of Information
You are responsible for ensuring that all information and documents you provide through the Client Portal are accurate, complete, and current. Inaccurate or incomplete information may adversely affect your migration case.
5.3 No Advice Through Portal
Information displayed in the Client Portal (including case status, milestone tracking, and deadline information) is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute migration advice. Consult your Migration Agent for advice regarding your case.

10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 Exclusion of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MigraTech excludes all liability for any loss, damage, cost, or expense (whether direct, indirect, consequential, special, or exemplary) arising out of or in connection with:
